TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. Any rule violation will result in automatic disqualification.
    Good sportsmanship is expected of all individuals during the tournament. Conduct deemed inappropriate by the tournament director may result in immediate disqualification.
  2. All Federal, State, and local laws/ordinances will be observed.
  3. Entry Fee: $420 per boat.
  4. Registration is OPEN NOW until 09/09/26 @ 11:59pm.
  5. PRE-REGISTRATION IS IMPORTANT! This is how we determine parking and the order you take off for the tournament.
  6. Registration is not complete until payment has been received and waivers are completed.
  7. Check-in: Will begin on 09/11/26 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at Mason Dixon Fairgrounds. All participating teams must be registered by September 9th. Registration cut-off is September 9th @ 11:59pm
  8. Teams will receive a Tournament Registration card that will include their boat number. Loss of this card may result in disqualification. Each team MUST present their card at weigh-ins prior to weighing in fish.
  9. In-person Captain’s meeting attendance is mandatory for at least one member of each team. However, meeting attendance by all anglers is highly encouraged, as in-person attendance is required for giveaways, 50/50, raffles, special guests, and other opportunities.
  10. Captain’s Meeting:
    Location: 09/11/26 @ 6:00pm at Mason Dixon Fairgrounds.
    6988 Delta Rd. Delta, PA. 17314. Food will be available for purchase from 7:00am – 7:00pm at the Fairgrounds.
    Special guest speakers, 50/50, Giveaways, and Raffles will also take place on 09/11/26 at the fairgrounds.
  11. The primary launch and weigh-in will be on 09/12/26 and take place at Dorsey Park Boat Launch, 1874 Lay Rd. Delta, PA. 17314. Launch, live-well checks, and boat staging will take place from 4:00am – 6:45am.
  12. Tournament Boundaries:
    Will be dam to dam (Holtwood Dam to Conowingo Dam).
  13. Safety is our number one priority.
    All participants must utilize USCG-compliant vessels and practice standard safety precautions. We recommend all boats have the proper safety equipment and first aid kits. All anglers must maintain current and proper PA Fishing licenses.
  14. Tournament Fishing Hours:
    7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
    All participants must be in line to weigh in fish by 4:00 pm to be eligible for weighing in fish for the day.
  15. BAIT FISHING is permitted.
    Bait will be available to purchase at Team Dual Purpose Outdoors prior to the tournament, located at 4060 Pinchtown Rd. Thomasville, PA. 17364.
  16. No angler limit per boat. Rod limit of 6 per boat.
  17. All tournament boats must maintain a 50-yard distance between other participating boats during the tournament. No fishing from outside the boat (bank fishing). No buddy fishing. At LiveWell checks, EACH boat will receive a yellow caution-type flag to be placed on your boat and visible to other anglers competing.
  18. When you arrive at Conowingo (Dorsey Park Boat Launch) for your initial launch on 09/12/26, your LiveWell must be checked prior to your launch.
    NO BOATS IN THE WATER UNTIL YOUR LiveWell HAS BEEN CHECKED AND YOUR YELLOW CAUTION FLAG HAS BEEN PLACED ON YOUR BOAT.
    This is to allow other participating anglers to visually see that you are fishing in the tournament.
  19. Fish can only be caught by Rod and Reel method. No snagging/foul-hooked fish allowed.
  20. No Chumming or fishing intentionally baited holes.
    No Pre-staging of fish.
  21. All participating anglers must remain in the vessel the entire length of the tournament.
    If you have an emergency, you must call the tournament director to discuss. The phone number will be provided at the captain’s meeting. If you are in distress or in need of a tow, please contact the tournament director ASAP.
  22. This tournament is a Flathead and Channel Cat mixed bag.
  23. 3-FISH WEIGH-IN.
  24. Weighing in dead fish will result in disqualification.
    No more than 3 catfish are allowed in the boat at any given time, with the exception of the time it takes to cull a fish.
  25. This is a catch and release tournament.
    All boats must have functional live wells with water exchange capabilities on board, or Decoy Bags. Proper supplies/equipment to sustain the health of 3 large catfish. All fish must be released and swim away. Fish that do not swim away on their own will be considered dead and result in disqualification.
  26. Ties will be determined by the largest single fish of the tied teams.
  27. Any protests must be made before the scales are closed.
  28. All local and state boating and fishing regulations must be followed by all anglers.
  29. Upon entry into the tournament, all participants are placed under the waiver/release for the Susky Legends benefit tournament.
    (Read and sign waiver and release). This must be completed at check-in on 09/11/26.
  30. All anglers in the running for the money are subject to a polygraph/lie detector test.
    No alcoholic beverages or controlled substances are allowed until after the polygraph tests have been concluded or deemed acceptable by the tournament directors.
